Morocco Tour 10 Days: Tangier to Marrakech
Ten days to cross the whole of Morocco and say goodbye with two nights in Marrakech.
From €750 per person Book now
This itinerary takes the eight-day route one step further: arriving in Marrakech is not the end of the trip but the start of its final chapter. You have a full day with a local guide to explore the medina, its palaces and its souks, and on day ten we take you to the airport.
Before that, the route leaves nothing out: the blue of Chefchaouen, the African Rome of Volubilis, Meknes, Fez, the cedars of the Middle Atlas, two days in the Merzouga desert, the Todra and Dades Gorges, Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou.
Ideal for: those who want a complete north-to-south trip with a return flight from Marrakech and everything taken care of, down to the last transfer.
We start in Tangier, the city on the Strait. If you arrive early enough, we look in at the Caves of Hercules before taking the Rif road. In Chefchaouen, a free afternoon among blue alleyways and terraces with a view.

We leave the Rif for the countryside around Meknes. We visit Volubilis — forum, basilica and houses with mosaics — and take a walk through the Meknes medina before continuing to Fez.

Fez is rich, ancient and deeply spiritual. We devote the day to its medina: tanners, coppersmiths, weavers, the Karaouine, Bab Boujloud and the 14th-century Royal Palace seen from its gates.

From the green of the Middle Atlas to the ochre of the Tafilalet. Stops in Ifrane, in the cedar forest and at the Ziz viewpoints. Arrival in Merzouga.

A day in the desert: a visit to the nomads, music in Khamlia and, in the afternoon, a camel trek to the camp to watch the sunset from the dunes.

After sunrise we take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. A walk in the Todra Gorges, the Tinghir palm grove and arrival in the Dades for dinner.

Dades Gorges in the morning, Valley of Roses and Skoura on the way to Ouarzazate.

We visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Ait Benhaddou, and cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka to Marrakech.

Strolling through the medina, getting lost in its vast souk and tasting Moroccan cooking: Marrakech is a feast for the senses. Your guide takes you to the Koutoubia, the palaces and Jemaa el-Fna.

Private transfer to Marrakech airport at whatever time you need. End of the trip.

Timings and the order of visits may be adjusted according to the season, road conditions and your preferences.
We choose small places with character, where a home-cooked dinner is part of the experience. In the desert you can choose between two types of camp.
Traditional houses with private room and bathroom, in the medinas or overlooking the valley.
Private tent with beds, blankets and shared bathrooms. The simplest and most authentic option.
Spacious tents with a large bed, private bathroom and shower, electricity and dinner served at the table.
For your day in Marrakech, book tickets for the Majorelle Garden in advance: they are sold online only, for a set time slot.
It is completely private: the vehicle, the driver and the itinerary are just for you and your companions. You will not share the trip with strangers, so we can stop wherever you like and adapt the timings.
Yes. What you see is our standard proposal. We can add a night, change the start or end point, include a guided visit or adjust the stages to your flights. Tell us what you need and we will send you a tailor-made version.
In both you have a private tent, dinner, breakfast and an evening of drums by the campfire. The luxury camp adds a private bathroom with shower inside the tent and more refined décor; in the standard camp bathrooms are shared and you shower in the morning at the hotel in the village.
About an hour and a half each way, at a gentle pace and accompanied by a camel handler. We set off a couple of hours before sunset to arrive in good light. If anyone cannot or would rather not ride, let us know and we will find an alternative.
Send us the form or write to us and we will confirm availability and the final price within 24 hours. We accept online payment (Visa, MasterCard and PayPal), as well as cash or card in person.
You can travel all year round. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) have the mildest temperatures. In winter the days are sunny but desert nights are cold, and in summer it is best to start early and make the most of the vehicle’s air conditioning.
North to south in six days: Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fez, a night in Merzouga, the gorges and Marrakech.
